How we developed Wittit in just 3 months
Execution
The Wittit project was executed through a structured and iterative approach. The project was segmented into key phases that enabled effective collaboration, timely delivery, and a high-quality final output.
- Mobile App Design: After the project scope was defined, our design team started creating an intuitive and engaging interface. Taking inspirations from popular platforms like Zillow and Tinder, we aimed to offer a similar user experience but catered specifically for local college students.
- Front-End and Back-End Development: With the approved design concept, the team embarked on front-end and back-end development. The front-end team utilized modern mobile technologies and frameworks to build a responsive interface. The back-end team created a robust database system for property listings, user profiles, and messaging.
- Property Listing and Search System: We developed a comprehensive property listing system where available rentals and Greek houses could be uploaded and categorized. Alongside this, we built an advanced search system to help students find suitable accommodation based on their preferences.
- Messaging System: A key aspect of the application was the integration of a secure and user-friendly messaging system. This feature enabled potential roommates or sub-leasers to communicate effectively within the app, facilitating easier decision-making and arrangements.
- Quality Assurance and Testing: Rigorous testing procedures were undertaken across various devices to identify and rectify any issues. This phase also ensured that the application followed best practices in terms of data privacy and security measures.
- Deployment and Launch: Upon thorough testing and client approval, the Wittit app was deployed to app stores. BlackBird Tech LLC. worked closely with the client to ensure a smooth launch, which included the setup of necessary integrations, and monitoring systems for future updates and improvements.
